I was speaking with my Mother last night--she's a former professor at Alabama. She told me that according to some of her friends that still teach at U of A the University is larger than its ever been, more than half of the students are from out of state, professors have received a raise every year for the last four years where other schools in state have not granted a school-wide raise in five. To say revenue is up at the University of Alabama would be an understatement. TIFWIW

I've been a student at Alabama since 2008 (now in a grad program there) and the transformation has been profound. Each year enrollment has increased. Tuition has also increased by several hundred a semester lol.

Revenue has definitely shot up over the past few years and it has show with multiple buildings being constructed/renovated around campus each year.

The amount of construction in Aggieland is out of control. We have the 10th largest endowment in the country, and a shite ton of that has gone in to shiny new buildings. I would like to know how it compares, as all I hear about from the piggies is walmart money.
