Who here on the SECr actually played football?

I played Strong Side linebacker in a 4-3 defensive scheme. I led the team in tackles my junior and senior year of high school.
When I was in 8th grade I played for the Freshman & JV team. We were not very good starting out but every year we improved.
Freshman year 2-8
Sophmore year 6-5 playoffs lost first round
Junior Year 7-5 playoffs lost first round
Senior Year 9-3 Playoffs Lost in second round.
Accomplishments
Got my name on the wall in our weight room:
Squat 405 pounds
Almost got 300 bench 2 reps short on 225.

Did you play in Warren Co? I played ol for one of the big catholic schools in Ky.

played JV/Fresh teams. Rode Pine Soph year then demolished my shoulder in a practice and stopped. But my pine riding skills got me a state ring before I quit.

Your about my size then. I was 5'9 190. I was a good run stopper and enjoyed hitting people. I also played guard Freshman year. I filled in Senior year but ended up just playing defensive at the end of the year.

No I didn't grow up in Warren County. I moved here for college. There are a lot of Catholic Schools in Ky. Which school did you play for and what year?

Back in Middle school(7th grade) our games were scrimmages against 2A/3A JV teams before the season started. Needless to say we learned early what it felt like to get our asses kicked.

That's a tough pill to swallow. We used to get our asses handed to us regularly by schools out of Lexington. I hated those schools for a long time till we ended up beating them.
