I guess it would depend on what position you are going to play them but that has been the knock against Cooper from day 1. As fans we have the kid playing all over the field. LB isn't going to happen, that is kind of short for a DE, and how much weight can you put on him and let him play DT while still keeping his athleticism. Then you have the question of is he better than the other DT we can get. I think the kids best shot is at FB and we are getting players for that position to walk on.

I will add that most folks love for Cooper has nothing to do with what they have seen him do on the field and more to do with him being ranked a 4* on 247. If he came in at say 3* with a ranking of 85 people would be saying well he is a good backup option if some of our top targets go elsewhere.
