You're giving up to soon, after one bad year in a decade I am going to stay optimistic and expect to see them get back to at least a winning record.

This is the sentiment that I don't understand. This season was not Pinkel's only shortcoming. 2008 was a letdown season with a bad home loss to Okie State which derailed our title hopes. 2009 was dismal with a horrible loss to Navy.
2010 was good until we got raped by Nebraska and followed that with an awful loss to a bad Texas Tech team. 2011 was shite, as we were 4-5 and required a 4 game streak to end at 8-5. This year was pathetic as we all know (frickin Syracuse?!). Not to mention his off the field shenanigans. Pinkel is a fantastic MAC or cUSA coach. He's NOT an SEC coach.

I will never know why people reduce it down as if its only this season that was the problem. As if we thought he was an elite coach and just got a tough break. Honestly since 2008 we have been pretty average. Since the OU (a major benchmark in recent Mizzou history) game we have been pretty bad. Do you seriously consider 2011 a good year? We have been on the decline for 2 years now. Its a joke what happened at Texas Tech in 2010 (the start of the criticism in my opinion). I mean what has been a good win since OU? Texas was overrated, TAMU was also. I can definitely point to bad losses within that timeframe.

And honestly your standards are too low if all you want is a winning record. 6-6 and a Indy bowl win shouldnt cut it for you anymore. The man has been here 12 years. This isnt 1980 anymore. He wanted raised expectations and he has them. Now produce. I am not attacking you whatsoever, but at a certain point I want the program to be elevated. If he isnt the guy to do it, then somebody else needs to come in.

By the way Kilo I know you didnt say the second quote. Just quoting it out of your reply.
