I got accepted to Georgia Tech and MIT for grad school, but we had a new professor that had just come from MIT and promised me all the connections he had. So far it's working out pretty well.

Plus it's hard to pass up $5.00 football tickets and I've got enough credit hours to get any away and post season games.

ETA: And my gf, soon to be fiance...

new professor or not, I would have gone there. You traded an entire school of MIT professors for 1? The MIT inner circle is likely a close knit one and is probably teeming with opportunity once you're done. But, to each his own
