the sec needs to do a better job preventing conflict of interest type situations. A bama guy shouldn't be making schedules, they need to either contract that work out or hire some people not from the region. Clearly you cant have all employees with no ties to any sec school but their needs to be some checks and balances. when dealing with the schedules and refs there should be no conflict of interest or potential bias at all. contract that out and then make sure refs are under strict scrutiny that they have no ties to a school that is in a particular game or has a major interest in a game. These things seem like they should be common sense.
