Gradual- Reason I'm worried is OU is used to your style of football. And next year once sec teams know it too your be losing a lot because sec defenses against. It took chavis 1 quarter and Florida 1 half to adjust. Gimmick offenses don't last in the sec ask auburn. And yes playing OU who's familiar with that O is a horrible matchup for aTm
Shut. The. frick. Up.
What in the hell is a gimmick offense anyway? Define that term for me. I look forward to your enlightened response.
You know what OU isn't familiar with? They aren't familiar with Johnny Manziel. They haven't seen anything remotely close to Scooby Football. And there is no doubt in my mind, that SFF will light them up for 60 minutes.

Thank you, somebody gets it. "Gimmick offense" is just a stupid term. A&M has a great offense because it has a ton of talent offensively, not just with Manziel but on the OL and at the skill positions. One of the great ironies I love is people have given Manziel a hard time about "not scoring more TD's against Bama and LSU". What they fail to mention is Manziel got them in the Red Zone and then A&M just powered it for several TD's with their RB's running behind that line "old school football". It's not a "gimmick" when you can run and pass with equal strength, folks forget A&M led the SEC in rushing this year in YPG and tied with Bama at YPA at 5.6 while leading the conference by a mile in TD's rushing.
That's not changing next year either. Manziel is obviously back and anyone that has watched him this year can see he is only improving with experience in the system. Maybe 1 of the 2 OT's goes pro but A&M is loaded there. The WR's and RB's only increase in talent next year as well. This was the "glue and duct tape" year. Next year the upgrade in recruiting talent starts to take hold. The weakness for A&M is still on the defense and esp defensive depth. The raw talent is increasing there but it's young, the real key will be if Demontre Moore comes back.
