But we played without 2 All American caliber players the first 4 games, and then had a hobbled Jarvis Jones after the Missouri game.
And those opponents were Buffalo, Missouri, Florida Atlantic, and Vanderbilt. You get everybody back for the Tennessee game and your defense gives up 44 points.

makes perfect sense, they weren't used to playing together as a unit. We also lost Bennett, number one receiver at that point in practice right before the game. no excuses, we got a beat down. those are definite factors as to why we weren't more competitive that game.

Tennessee was able to run the football on us because Rambo, Williams, and Ogletree weren't making the plays.
They hadn't been on first team offense for over a month. It took time for them to get up to gamespeed.
Jarvis Jones was working through hamstring issues and a shoulder injury at that time as well.
