I agree with this and I think that this is how 90% of the issues are handled over there.

But moving on to your second point.

2. He cannot make an effective argument without making it personal. In the very thread I was banned in (6? months ago), I even pointed out how he could have simply stated his point and let the thread die, but he just could not STAND not getting the last word. I gave him every opportunity to prove me wrong and he did exactly what I told him he would.

From the facts that you are laying out YOU are the problem. Not Liucci. You seem to imply that you started the "altercation" either in a thread of your making or in another thread.

You also, complain that Liucci can't stand not to get the last word, but it appears that you are guilty of the same thing. You could have just as easily walked away and let him have the last word, but instead you expect him to walk away and let you have the last word.

Third point. You insinuated that you knew how the whole thing was going to play out yet still went down that road, why? What was the point.

The final thing which entirely too many people on the Premium board fail to comprehend is that the Premium board is NOT a PUBLIC forum. Being that it is not a public forum you do not have the right to just act however you please and post whatever you want. Look at the Football Board, the Rivalries Board and the General Board over there. Very little moderation which is one of my biggest complaints with the site. Those are the boards that everyone can see and they are a complete and utter disaster. The Premium board you are paying for access to content, you are not paying so that your opinion can be heard, this is something that people can not grasp.

You are correct, but then again I don't think that this is Liucci's "assigned area" so to speak. People immediately categorize Liucci with TexAgs but forget that there is a whole team over there. Brandon Jones, Brice, Gabe, and the developer who goes by the name Ooshwa (forget his real name) very often solicit and accept feedback. Looch is the so-called "talent" but he isn't the driving force behind a bunch of their new content. And again ... there is no need to ever post constructive criticism or feedback in a thread. PM or email it to staff 1) it is more likely to get read and 2) it is much less of a "look at me" act.

I did. When I looked at the thread the next day, he had posted 8 times in the thread after I made my final one. He even made a sarcastic comment to the effect of, "Here, a-hole, I'm giving you the opportunity to get the last word before I lock the thread."

Wasn't on the premium board. Was a premium subscriber for all of 4 months about 3 years prior stopped paying because I simply had no use for it.

Did that. The item I suggested was how to control user access and reduce trolling. Chicken does a similar (but far more effective) method to what I suggested. (restricted access lists)
