I agree just look at manzel, wallace, driskell, conner shaw. They can all run and are all a threat to go pick up the first down by themselves. Unfortunately russell is not really a threat to do that

Add to that fact that I'm not really confident that Mullen is nearly the offensive mind working with a pure pocket passer as he is when he can run with a dual threat read option QB. It was ironic watching the Egg Bowl with OM looking like the old MSU with Chris Relf and MSU looking like the old Houston Nutt offense with Snead.
