Hotty Toddy is an adaptation of a WWII infantry marching/spirit song.
It goes - Hotty Toddy God Almighty Who The Hell Are We. Bim Bam G@d Dam We're The Infantry. You can see this in Band of Brothers among other films.
Supposedly returning GI's coming to Ole Miss on the GI Bill didn't like the cheerleaders cheers at football games and started the Hotty Toddy. The student body liked it better than the cheers and picked it up.

For God sake, I wish our students back in the day would have picked any other song than the "2 bits" cheer.
