This is a better article. Viewership average for all BCS bowls was down. They didn't just single out Alabama-LSU. It was also the first year that it was only on Cable. Chick Fil A Bowl was down 17% from the year before. Turns out a shitty Auburn team in a shitty bowl was worse than the year before too.
