Flyover for the game?

So while I was packing to leave town instead of going to the game (doing my part to support the cause), I saw a few jets flyover Auburn.
Two questions:
1- Why did no one know there was a flyover?
2- Why the fug was there a flyover for Alabama A&M and not a game worth a chiz?
