Couple things:

1) we had just lost our starting LT and that was the real beginning of the musical chairs that was our OL
2) Auburn was 1-2 at the time and still trying
3) Mett was making his 1 road start against a traditional rival behind the aforementioned make-shift OL
4) turnovers and penalties. we turned it over at AU's 1 yd-line and we turned it over at our own 25.
5) Don't let the scoreline fool you, look at the stats and it will show that game wasn't as close as the score indicates. LSU had control the entire game, just couldn't get out of its own way.
