Every fanbase has their "sittttdown ay cane seeee" crowd. If you're in the older crowd and dont want people standing the entire game, ok i get it. But it absolutely infuriates me when I get told to sit down on 3rd down or a big offensive possession. I'm talkin punch a kid mad.

Eh, maybe I'm more critical because its my team, but I definitely think we could be a lot louder.

Don't even get me started with the "sit down" crowd. My first game after I graduated I was told that, and I sat. Only to appease someone who didn't make a noise the entire game. I stopped doing that. Now I just look at them and say "it's a college football" and shrugg my shoulders. In Dallas for the Michigan game I had a middle aged woman grab my shirt. Almost lost it.

Point is the only control a fan has at a game is to be loud and intimidate/disrupt play calling. It's a big factor.
