A lot of people compare Bama football to Kentucky basketball but I actually think UNC basketball is a more apt comparison. Both schools have been so spoiled over the years that the atmosphere for their home games isn't as intimidating as other venues.

Correct me if Im wrong, but the stadium expansion opened after Saban got there and there haven't been a lot of close home games to get the crowd pumped.

I was there for the 2010 Iron Bowl and you couldn't hear yourself think but that's the exception and not the rule
