If The BIG 12 actually had 12 teams and a proper championship game like other conferences like the ACC, Big East even the Big 10 Oklahoma State would have played in the National Championship. This scenario could happen again this year to Kansas State if a team from the SEC and PAC 12 are both undefeated. The Big 12 will be left out again. It is simple logic..

This is ignorant. Bama didn't play in conf championship and clearly had a weaker resume.

Ok guy, must be simple logic for a team that plays in a conference with a "proper championship" to not even play in that championship and go to the National Championship.
