Mccarron is vastly overrated by you gumps, he's a great game manager, but he doesn't have to be anything more with that defense and run game.
I was never trying to compare Mett to him, Mett has a much higher ceiling

I cant agree with you here. You didnt see him in high school, kid can throw the ball as well as anyone I saw play when he was here, and I went to a lot of LSU and Saints games. Plus our receivers would drop 4 or 5 passes that hit them in the numbers per game. He is a game manager because that is what Saban wants, he shoy;d have gone to a school that throws the ball more. He doesnt like to be hit (What QB does) but if he has time he is deadly on flys and post.

Mobile QB's can negate great defemses at times. This is what Herbie meant. But Bama's Offense will shred A&M's defense, but they will be flat so maybe who knows.
