Wouldn't mind if he was and we played someone else. I'll let you in on an ancient Chinese secret. Were going to

Run the zone option
Arky will follow the plan laid out by LSU/Florida/UT and will shut it down. This will keep our defense on the field 80% of the night and exhaust our defense especially the weak secondary we play with. The game will come down the final minute.

Oddly enough the minute any other qb we have comes into the game. The other defense immediately lifts defenders out of the box into the secondary. Guess what happens then bubbles. Suddenly running lanes open up all across the line of scrimmage and poof you have a running game.

That's okay. If Arkansas plays the exact game Tennessee did on defense, we'll start throwing the ball down field and Shaw will throw for over 300 again.

Uuhhh...Connor Shaw threw for a career record 356 yds and 3 TDs versus UT's master planned defense against our zone option. We also rushed for 150 yds and 2 TDs, and controlled TOP 35:22 to 24:38. In fact we owned the TOP for every quarter of football versus the Vols, and after the 1st qtr. held a 27:39 to 17:21 advantage on the Vols the rest of the way...

LSU currently owns the #2 passing defense, #12 rushing defense, #3 total defense, and #10 scoring defense. UF owns the #17 passing defense, #10 rushing defense, #5 total defense, and #4 scoring defense. These are legit defenses, and we played both teams in their house...

Tennessee has the #115 passing defense, #90 rushing defense, #112 total defense, and #107 scoring defense. They are NOT on LSU's or UF's level.....not even on the same radar screen with them. Arkansas' defense is closer to UT's: #112 passing D, #24 rushing D, #72 total D, and #78 scoring D. They have a decent rushing defense, but it's been boosted by efforts against AU, UK, and Ole Miss.

Trying to compare the Vols or Razorback's defense with the likes of LSU or UF makes no sense at all....
