I am wondering, after seeing that picture, if has a terrible triad.

I have heard that the terrible triad causes the knee to pop completely out of joint, often causing the muscles to contract and pull the lower leg up into the upper leg.

Usually, the unhappy triad occurs when there's an impact on the lateral aspect of the knee. The impact on Lattimore's knee looked to be more direct on the front of his knee, if I'm not mistaken...
