Since we all know what school I'm from, I don't want to burn any bridges by getting too specific. I'll just say that the field itself is lucrative, but again, the courses in no way prepare me for a job in my field.

Though some majors do a good job of preparing students for careers, I would say some are horrible; and in nearly every case, if you cut the BS classes, the students could all graduate in half the time owing the government much less money.

No i completely understand this statement. I get where you are coming from it does seem like the school have lost site of educating the student and became concern only about the bottom line
