As the fan of an opponent I would love for him to stay a long time.
As a fan of the game itself, Chizik is not a winner. He failed at Iowa State and Auburn got a good deal on him, probably getting rave reviews from others in the game, because he had not yet proven himself a winner, but Auburn felt he was. He fell into a perfect situation with Cam Newton, who is a once-in-a-lifetime athlete for a guy like Chizik. I would be tempted to compare it to Urban Meyer at UF, with Tebow, but I think Meyer is actually a better coach than Chizik, by a long shot. It would be in Auburn's and the SEC's best interest if he went to another conference.

Loeffler needs to be gone immediately. Chizik needs to throw at least one body on the sacrificial bon fire and the newbies program isnt working.

Auburn should have gotten rid of the AD last week, maybe sooner.
Can any of you honestly look at the Auburn programs across the board and say they're better? It starts at the top, and when, not if Chiz gets the axe, you can start with someone better at choosing a coach.
Pat Dye chose Chiz, and everyone knows it because Chiz would do exactly what Dye and the people who really run Auburn's football program said to, and until those people get out of the decision making process, you're likely to get another controllable loser.
Get the AD out, kick Dye out of the football complex and tell him to stay out, then go hire someone with no ties to Auburn but knows how to run athletic programs as the AD.
Then maybe you won't be wondering why you can't compete against the better teams in the conference, in pretty much every sport.
