That is actually very true. Its impressive. That was a lazy comment by me.

I just think it's a lazy statement to say Mizzou is far from competing, when they just won their conference last year.

I get that they are extremely far away in facilities. I just think they have a decent foundation going into the SEC, and have good talent in the state that might choose start choosing Mizzou over some other good baseball options in our state.

Mizzou is a lot like Arkansas from a facilities standpoint when we entered the SEC. Sure we had been to a couple of CWS prior to the SEC but our field and stadium were absolute crap. A few years of that SEC money and a timely donation by the Baums and we were on our way in '98. I imagine you guys will see the same thing happen sooner rather than later once your money guys get the tour of SEC ballparks over the next few years.

There is no way you will compete year in and year out unless they put the money in to it. For a lot of schools in the SEC, baseball is probably the #2 sport behind football and not basketball like it is in the rest of the country.

You've got to rotate them out. That's my excuse for our basketball team in the coming years, and our football team 02-08.

Yet another reason I've wanted into the SEC since Arky left the SWC.
