i am guessing that you are one of the admins here, and i am new over here, but just don't understand some things. for instance, why do usc fans have to have a sub-board, instead of a normal board among all the other forums listed on the front page of secrant? this seems demeaning, and even mizzou has a forum board on the front, and they just became an sec team? second, why is it so hard for mods or admins to make something happen here? like your original message about this becoming a reg forum later, instead of just setting it up as one now?
just wondering some of these things, because only being here for a day or so, the feeling i immediately had once i signed up was one of gamecock fans being treated like crap, and as a lesser university. that is not a recipe to make this a popular board, which i would think would be the goal.

Not Chicken, and not sure if serious, but this USC-specific forum is pretty brand new....the Missouri board was not on the sidebar as a regular forum either, at first. Our board is going through the exact same processes it did. Also, if I'm not mistaken, UT and UF were also having team forums started up the same time as the Mizzou board, and they haven't shown up yet either. So it's not just us....
The sub-boards look to be individual team fan boards for those fan bases, instead of SECR, which is for everyone and allows smack talking and a good degree of trolling. If you're not a member of those specific teams, I think you need special permission to post in their forums...

All team forums are private boards before they are opened. The admins like for a forum to have a good number of topics going before they go public so everyone can see them. Currently, only people with access can post/see this board.
Only people with access can post on the other team boards as well.
In about a week's time, this board will most likely be listed with the other forums on the side bar.

And then whoever next gets a board will go through the exact same process.
