It's fascinating how the radiation dispersed. There are random arse spikes all around there. The radiation around the bumper cars is nearly lethal, but 5 feet away is almost clean.
We walked around in regular clothes for the tour, but it was typical cold weather.
If I was single when I first started making money I would have travelled there already. Especially to go on the Volga River and see Saint Petersburg. It apparently is sinking into the marsh it was built on at the rate of about 2 inches a year. The architecture and colors of St Petersburg are trully beautiful but I will probably only see them in pictures. Been all over western Europe and Australia and New Zealand with wife's family and the air guard but can't interest any of them in a Eastern European vacation.

St. Pete is my all time favorite place. We've only been 3 times since 07, but it use to be an annul family trip. 2 weeks every summer. I've only had layovers in Western Europe, but I've been all over Ukraine, Western Russia, little bit of Belarus and Romania, and a bit of Czech land. My family loves to travel.
Go by yourself if you have to, but go. I'm already planing for Sochi '14. It's absolutely beautiful.
Sometime that isn't 1 am before I have oral argument we need to discuss this more

I've been reading through that chick's site. Pretty interesting stuff. I've watched a couple documentaries on Chernobyl, it's just amazing how inept the response was.
