Without the threat of a pass or a handoff, the defense knows the play is just dive left or dive right.

If KK is going to run it, why not have Showers in there?

Getting into the wildcat is pointless with Johnny out there.

We're in the wildcat every damn play.

Exactly. It's counter productive to run the wildcat when we have a qb that can tuck and run it every time. The whole point of the wildcat is to have a run play where the defense has to protect the pass. hello! That's every play for us.

Just once I would love to see them run a wildcat though and pass the ball to Johnny just so the legend grows even more.

I'm fine with the wildcat per se, just if Malena is running it in short yardage he needs to be more aggressive. The advantage of the wildcat is having the ball in a big RB's hands faster to hit the line, if he hesitates like he did on 4th down it is pointless.

Why not run the wildcat with Showers lined up in the shotgun and Manziel in the slot?

Agree, no reason for wildcat when you have a running QB. I hate the wild cat even if you do not have a running QB because the D knows what is about to happen.

Dumb call that I hope we do not see again this year.
