Would you have the same opinion mind had Sumlin allowed Johnny to play the whole game? Did you not see enough? What glaring weakness did you identify in A&M's squad that has you speaking so unequivocally?

Your team being too classless to put the ball on the ground doesn't mean that it's gods gift to football. Ole Miss is our instate rival, we don't even refer to the by name, but if we are up 28-0 we will run the ball every single down. Congrats you skull fricked a highschool football team that has quit on the season.

Arky still has a very explosive offense and came back from 17 points down on us last year. They made a late run at Rutgers the week before as well. They certainly never quit and had Wilson and Hamilton in there going for it on 4th down with barely a minute left. Sumlin did pull the starters early in the 4th quarter but he didn't want to risk a lot of 3 and outs with a backup OL running the ball. Also, the backup QB job at A&M isn't completely settled so he likely wanted to see Showers vs Joekel running the offense (Joekel may have won the job btw based on performance).

Once again I don't think either A&M or UT has much of a shot but comparing the 2 A&M has an edge based on a better D and I would add coaching. A&M also has a chance at catching Bama off guard with such a different style of offense and the unconventional play of Manziel that is hard to plan for. While I do think Bama handles Manziel I don't see him getting killed. He still has an OL with 2 future 1st Rounders at OT. If he can learn to slide he can minimize the damage quite a bit as well. No way he can pull off a "run in a circle" TD like he did against Arkie either.

I just can't envision walking in to BDS though with a Freshman led team and staying within 10 though. I also can't see how a UT team that already has a coach on the hot seat and has lost to UF and UGA already with a highly suspect D suddenly putting it all together for Bama.
