St Louis crushed the Nationals. Announcers bragged about how nice Hammons Field ballpark in Springfield, Mo is for a perfect Minor League experience. St. Louis called Hammons Field a mini-Busch Stadium. And that is 100 percent true. Great place.
Springfield won their championship this year, just one year after the Cards won the World Series.
If you've never been to a Springfield Cardinals game, it truly is a great experience for very little money. Springfield is a great city and we represent the St. Louis Cardinals (and Mizzou) well.

I have no idea what the point of this thread was Killz. I do not support the St. Louis cardinals and they really have nothing to do with mizzou. I have the feeling I'm going to see a lot of red in the stands for the Vandy game.

Yeah. I feel for all you Royals fans. At least us Cards fan know what it feels like to win. So sad what the Royals have become. When I was a kid they were great every year.
We shall rally 'round Mizzou. No hate for my KC friends. Besides, you guys have Oklahoma Joe's. I don't even care that its on the Kansas side, it's that damn good.

Whoa whoa whoa, people. This may be the Mizzou board, but I grew up going to Mizzou football games in the Fall and Cardinal baseball games in the Summer. One team wasn't more important than the other. They were on equal footing
It is common knowledge that Royals fans are mostly (97 percent) beaker fans...so they are hated as much as we hate KU. I'm speaking for all Mizzou/Cardinals fans.

Okay okay...my number is off just a bit. Royals fans consist of 93 percent beaker fans, 6 percent KState fans, and 1 percent who absolutely hate college football.

Come on killz you're better than this. And you better not be one of the losers I see wearing Red to our next home game. I've been a loyal chiefs and royals fan for my entire life, and I would never consider wearing either red or blue to a Mizzou game, even if one of those teams was playing on the same day or the next Sunday. It's just something STLers do when the Tigers are not looking too hot.
Wear you gold to Mizzou games and keep baseball apparel at baseball games. Y'all can support whatever team you choose, but I will never be a Cards fan.

Cards fans have awesome fans and top notch attendance even on bad years. Cards do well because they have fans who love them no matter what.

When was the last time the cards had a "bad year"? And by that I mean like cellar dweller, close to 100 losses?
I did the work for you, 1990 was the LAST time you even had 90 losses. Dude you've had it made for the past 20 years, so don't give me this diatribe about how you even show up in bad years. You don't even know what a bad year is.
Try losing 100 games 4 out of the last 6 years and then come talk to me.
I'm done with the STL v. KC thing. I'm a Mizzou fan and that's where my allegiances lie first and foremost because I was actually an alumnus from there.
EDIT: Delved deeper into the stats and STL has not had a 100 loss season since 1908, so just give me a break about this bad season thing
