Everyone has a moment in their lives when they think to themselves, "oh, crap, I'm not ready for this yet." Maybe that's whats going through his head when he stares at the camera for a second. Like anything else, he will adjust and perform to the level that he is supposed to perform at, both on the field and in front of the camera.
I for one think we should give the kid a break, there's too much other shite that I'm concerned about with this team much less how a freshman is adjusting to his first year at college.

Whenever...
A) Franklin's shoulder gets better/regains confidence or
B) Berkstresser becomes the starter
We'll see a jump in his production. You gotta remember that 2 of his games were vs top 5 or 10 defenses and the ASU game all of the plays that were for him were taken out of the playbook with Berk starting.
