Half of you act like you don't know what the word more means. I said he inherited more and the Lsu fans got their panties in a wad. Saban had josh reed so boom! Yea whoopty fricking do. Les miles inherited a better team than nick saban. That's what I said, that's what the truth is, like it or not

2008 #1 Alabama #11 LSU
2009 #1 Alabama #2 LSU
2010 #5 Alabama #6 LSU
2011 #1 Alabama #6 LSU
2012 #1 Alabama #18 LSU

Awww...the #1 recruiting ranking T-shirts from the past few years scream less talented teams? And yet, Saban vs Miles = 3-3. Let's ignore the facts and say Miles is just a lucky bum...maybe it's in the grass he eats.

so recruiting rankings matter or they do not, which is it? An hour ago it was base talent off a players college career and now you're telling me their high school career is the indicator. Recruiting rankings are a crap shoot by men that would be professional scouts if they were great at it. They're employed because people in the south love to follow recruiting, myself included.

Miles inherited more talent than saban. That's my only point. No other motive, that's just my only point. I've said in this very thread he's a great coach, I just pointed out he inherited more talent. I won't waiver from that so if you think you can convince me otherwise give it your best shot spraky.

Also, if you're trying to prove me wrong with recruiting rankings then the only ones you need to look at are LSU's from 1996-2006

Saban sure lost a lot of games here at LSU that he should have slam dunked & few more on the last play of the game. I thought I read somewhere..not on the rant..that his record in games decided by 7 points or more was not that good? And that is where great coaches should shine. But as an old timer, I am biased. Why don't we bring in the Miami media for their comments??
