GTFO, the talent on hand when saban got there wasn't even close to the talent miles inherited

Saban won the SEC in his second year at LSU. He had talent. It just doesn't fit the narrative that Saban can make something out of nothing.

That's not even a response to what I said. Saban inherited some talent, Miles inherited a roster full of talent and top 5 classes. There is a difference

You aren't an LSU fan so I don't expect you to understand the ends and outs of the rosters the way people who actually know stuff about LSU football do. He inherited the school's only Biletnikoff winner, one of the all time best passers who has the single game yardage record, and a guy who until Tebow and Cam knocked him off the top of the list, shared the rushing TD record with Shaun Alexander.

Who gives a shite what rivals says? The proof is in the results of those guys careers.

In college, recruiting accounts for 75% of your success. Miles is good at recruiting, always has been...

The remaining 25% comes down to coaching. This is where the big games are won or lost...

Talent advantage masks coaching deficiencies, so you can still win games without being strong at Xs and Os. Coordinators and position coaches play a huge role in this...

Saban schooled Miles in the championship game, with talent level being comparable. But Saban schools a lot of coaches...

In conclusion, Miles is a great college coach due to his recruiting prowess and motivational skills.

But I like Sumlin for the Aggies because I think he can excel at recruiting, motivational skills, and the Xs and Os
