there is little evidence to support this statement. when Saban arrived at LSU, there was LOTS OF TALENT on the roster; ditto for his arrival in bamaworld

LOTS OF TALENT is a stretch here boss, let's not diminish what the man did at either place. The talent when he left far exceeded the talent when he arrived at both places. Miles walked into a better situation at LSU and than saban did at LSU or bama..that's indisputable

LSU always had the talent, we never had the coaching. Recruiting wasn't the problem at LSU before Saban. That's why it's funny people say Miles has an easy job at LSU.... ignorant, but funny.

Yes, Miles walked into one of the top programs in the country, but he has done a great job of keeping LSU at an elite level. How many coaches completley fail after following a successful coach? It isn't easy.

you sound like my wife (an elementary school teacher). i did NOT diminish what nick saban did at LSU. i guess since my comments weren't avering saban is (or was) perfect you took offense. i stand by every damn word i said and i am not a saban hater. currently the man is the best HC in college football; i said that (agreed to it anyway). he was NOT the best HC in college football when he was at LSU; he did NOT rebuild LSU from the ground up; the WAS LOTS OF TALENT AT LSU when saban arrived. ditto at bama. both programs had a combination of poor coaching and poor discipline and poor attitudes when he arrived and he fixed those. LSU and Bama have always been good places to recruit. now the comment that obviously hurt your feelings (poor baby) was there is LITTLE EVEIDENCE TO SUPPORT HE BUILDS PROGRAMS FROM THE GROUND UP is true. miami is the only team he took over that had a talent deficit and he failed to BUILD IT FROM THE GROUND UP. i am a realist; there is only one man that walked on water and it damn sure ain't nick saban.
