I would feel the same way about Danielson if LSU was on the field and he was hardlegging them in the same way. His certainty when wrong is irresponsible for a broadcaster.

I don't think Gary is a homer of specific teams.
I think he is an SEC "what's good for the conference" big picture guy.
He picks the two best teams early on in the season and then openly roots for them to stay undefeated throughout the season...at the expense of other SEC teams and fanbases.

Gary has done his share of pumping LSU over the years. I don't know why people think Gary is so bad, he pretty much calls it as he sees it. They're calling a Bama game right now, they're not going to mention LSU much.

Gary actually cant stand Alabama. He does his job, but as a person he cant stand us. In fact, he told me so, rather rudely, at a bar in Columbia, South Carolina after they beat us in 10. He told me he was glad we lost and we were getting too full of ourselves.
