I doubt they would join a conference that blackballed them 100 years ago to keep them out...ergo, why they had to go independent in the first place. Bad blood with the Big10 and they don't have to share a dime.

You are aware the B1G blackballed Nebraska I think 2 or 3 times back around 100 years ago and yet Nebraska still joined in 2010.
As for Notre Dame, they are in the ACC, they are just doing it slowly over the next decade or so to not upset the old dudes who may still leave some big dough.
