If you'd take him over Spurrier or Richt, that's on you. That's a homer pick and unbackable by any standards other than your opinion...not stats.

Of course it's my opinion. I've never said otherwise.
Spurrier is old. During the Vandy game, he barely interacted with his players. He didn't even check on Shaw when he got hurt.
I also don't know how Richt would be without that big G across his chest.

Don't claim something to be unbackable by stats, unless, of course, it actually is.
Spurrier inherited a team that had gone 33-26(19-21) under another HOF coach the previous 5 years. He went 35-28(18-22) in his first 5 years there. At the equality point, he was 22-18(11-15).
Mullen inherited a team that had gone 29-65(13-51) over the previous 8 seasons under 2 coaches. In his first 3+yrs, he is 23-17(10-15).
I'm not calling him Steve Spurrier, but it is much too early for anyone to say he isn't based STRICTLY on their success at current institutions. USCe took 11 years of sustained success(mediocrity) to take the next step forward to where they are at now. It is only fair for us to give Mullen a little more time before trying to define what he is and isn't.
