re: Question for Mizzou folks

It is similar but not near the magnitude of aTm and burnt orange bevo. Rivalries and being overshadowed are 2 different things. We were not overshadowed by uk because frankly basketball does not count. Sure it is nice to be good at it but at the end of the day it is really nothing more than a footnote. Bet most fans would have trouble remembering who played in the Bball finals this year but can name LSU/Bama real quick.
We got overshadowed by the Nubbers/OU and even bevo cause we lost more than we won against those teams.
The move to the SEC at minimum gives us a fresh start. While the competition will be tougher recruiting will be better. The best players want to play against the best players.
