Preseason RankingsI think the reason Michigan was ranked 8th , USC 1st , Fla St etc. makes plenty of sense. Ill compare to say Missouris ranking(outside to 25). Michigan, USC, and company are in BCS conferences with below SEC average teams. Ranking these teams in weaker conferences lower in the preseason gives no room to rise to the top in the polls with an undefeated or 1 loss season. They have no game that a win will give a big jump in the polls but are promised a spot by being in a BCS conference hence the high srarting point they were handed. Easier for pollsters to move them from 7 to 1 then 30 to 1 while beating bullshite teams. Missouri on the other hand was a no brainer for pollsters to put out of the top 25 because if they win the games on their schedule playing in the SEC irs very easy and justifiable to have them rise to the top. The wins would justify the large move from preseason to the end of the season. Nor so much for talented teams without the schedule to help them rise in the rankings. The way the system is designed they need a jumpstart from tell preseason polls. Just my opinion. Thoughts? TL /DR GFY DIAF GTFO and all that. Yeah I get it. Move on Missouri on rBCSconference.
