We know the whole Bama spill of greatness, but here is why. They play in a great conference with other great teams.

This is why LSU has now become a great program, Auburn is/can be a great program Florida, Tenn, and UGA all are traditionally great.

Compare this to the rest of the conferences. Most have one or two good maybe great teams because the rest of the conference can't elevate them to the greatness on a yearly basis no matter their success.

So, my SEC brethren thank your hated rivals for they have helped elevate you at some point into a great football program. All our heated rivalries hatred has brought our programs and conference greatness beyond most colleges dreams.

Now tell me I'm a douche and to f-off etc... I'm a big boy I can take it. Just wanted to say we don't have to hate everyone all the time.

Has your competitiveness elevated us to greatness, or our greatness elevated you to competitiveness? It's a chicken/egg debate

Bama truly wouldn't be where they are today if they had not had the shoulders of the rest of the SEC to stand upon during their rise to prominence.

Agree. Many great programs in the SEC. Several good ones as well.
