Precisely. This is why tradition is so important. Alabama can lure a guy away from the nfl due to it. Tradition comes from outworking your opponents through the years, not dumb luck
Don't get me wrong, getting saban was big but none of that made a big diff back when dubose, franchoine, price and shula were hired.
