Correct. Provided 6 of them are EE and count towards the 2012 class.

Wouldn't we be able to sign more than 6?

Of the 19 we signed last year, Ken Marshall, Matt Davis, Otis Jacobs, and Derel Walker were all early enrollees. Wouldn't that mean we can count up to 10 towards the 2012 class if they all enroll early?

You can't just blindly backcount 4 from last year. You have to have the space from the previous class to allow them to be backcounted below 25. This is actually a continual effect, so technically, it's possible you could backcount quite a bit more than that, since you've undersigned lately.

Have you been told a hard number? My guess(assuming you had enough EE's to cover here)

2009 - Over
2010 - 22(can't back count any)
2011 - 23(can back count 3) effectively 20
2012 - 20(can back count 5) effectively 15
2013 - 24 current(can take 25 + backcount 10 more)

By my estimate, you can take 11 more players and still be within SEC rules, assuming you get 10 EE's. This is hard to assume though, because I don't know how many guys have EE'd for you every year, and if it was enough to cover these back count numbers, your max take could be a good bit less.
