Like a former classmate of mine, son of a Southern Baptist minister, who went on to become an oh-so-conservative Republican Speaker of the Missouri House. Where he pushed his oh-so-conservative opinions and values onto the rest of the state. Until he was busted for assaulting a woman (not his wife) during a BDSM sex session a few weeks after his divorce. When she protested, and woke up after losing consciousness, he told her she should have said "green balloons," their agreed upon safe word.
I have no problems with people holding conservative values. I hold some myself. And I have no problems with what consenting adults want to do behind closed doors. But to tell everyone else how they should live, and judge whether their choices should be acceptable in the great state of Missouri, when you're doing that stuff?
