Arkansas has 42 national championships in 5 different sports vs. Missouri's 2 national championships in 2 different sports.

Comparing the two is almost comical.

Holy shite, Arky fans actually try and bring T&F championships into the conversation? I didn't think this was a real thing.

To start with you would have to list the things that make Arkansas great and then try and find a team with similar advantages.

1. Statewide support since they are the only major D-1 School in the entire state.
2. Powerhouses in not only the three “major” sports of football, basketball and baseball but the Hogs field great teams in the “minor” sports as well.
3. Money to compete with schools twice their size and more for things such as facilities, recruiting budget, coaches salaries, etc.
4. A beautiful area of the country that offers a lot of business opportunities for the athletes after they have completed their eligibility.
5. One of the most easily accessible campuses in the entire US. XNA is only 20 minutes to the Arkansas campus and I’ll put the number of direct flights to major US cities coming in and out of XNA up against ANY other airport that only 20 minutes from campus.
6. Corporate Support. There are over 1,100 Wal-Mart suppliers with offices located only minutes from The University of Arkansas. These are very good paying jobs which means money to donate to The University of Arkansas.
7. Did I mention Fayetteville an all of NWA is a growing, thriving area with new construction going up almost weekly?

The more I look at all of Arkansas’ advantages the more I realize that Arkansas has no rival in any conference including the SEC. Searching for one is an exercise in futility.
