I would think that LSU would be more upset because of the way that they were beaten and not by the fact that it was a non conference champion. Would you want a lesser team to have been there, just so you could have won? I don't think that LSU would have beaten anyone that day. Something was wrong, and they were just not playing up to their standard performance that day. I don't understand why people put down Bama because they played in that game. The chips just fell that way, and Bama was ranked number 2 and was able to play in the game. What should Bama have done....refuse to play? They did play and they won, and Bama is the national champion for 2011, so get over it.

What rubs Lsu fans the wrong way is the fact that the game of the century was supposed to tell who was going to the ship. Bama lost then started crying and begging for a rematch. We make it to the SEC championship while bama gets to sit back, get healthy and game plan against us for the title. Now we have a four team playoff...
