I truly believe that a college playoff will finally force ND to join a conference. Everyone seems hell bent on the notion that ND would obviously go to the B1G 10.

However, ND like Texas wants to reel in money as much money as they possibly can. What better place to do that than in the Big 12? ND doesn't want to be in an equal sharing conference. That's against their best interests.

What's the one conference famous for unequal sharing? I really see this happening...

You're an idiot then. Look at the schedule they would be forced in to. They can already play OU and tu(on of them is on their schedule for the next SIX years), don't have to share any revenue with any other school, still play Michigan, Michigan State, Pitt, Navy, USC, Stanford, etc. You really have no clue if you think Notre Dame would be willing to go from a national brand to a Midwest/Texhoma brand. It makes no sense. In fact if anything, when the playoff goes to 8, ND will probably be treated like a conference champion, and if in the top 10, receive and auto-bid.

There just isn't room for both egos in the Big 12. If/when things finally get rolling towards super conferences again, I think ND will buck up and join the B1G if they are forced to play in a conference in order to stay relevant. The Big 12 is in every way inferior to the B1G, and Notre Dame fits in the B1G.
