Is that the place the fb players hung out at? I kind'a remember going to a bar which you crossed the train tracks to get to?
Some things from that far back are somewhat fuzzy..

I was at Alabama in the mid 90s. You may be thinking about either Harry's (home of the Crazy Bucket) or the place that I can't think of the name of that's just barely across the railroad tracks near the 15th Street viaduct.

Short answer is no. The Old Train Station was downtown near the Bank building near the intersection of Univ and Greensboro (tallest building downtown). If you're going from The Strip on Univ Blvd towards downtown you get to the intersection with the tallest building and turn right. The Old Train Station was on your right as you start going down the hill. If you've been to The Copper Top, 4th and 23rds, or Mellow Mushroom it's just down the hill on Greensboro Avenue from there. In fact, if it was still open it would be within walking distance of the RV lots overlooking the large bridge overpass near the new ampitheatre for any LSU fans that parked their RVs there LSU/Bama weekend.

The Ivory Tusk was located almost directly from the Univ Blvd entrance to Publix and the original Booth was on the main intersection that Phil's is on.
