Assuming no schools from a SEC state already, I like NC St and choose between Maryland or UVA. Although UVA is an extreme long shot, for one even if we were interested, VA tech fans would be so butt hurt and get the congressmen involved again, and tell UVA they can't leave the ACC without VT. NC St prolly is a long shot too, considering the UNC board would have to vote and approve it.
I also like the idea of OU and OSU together if nothing else it might finally kill off Bevo's conference, and leave them in a lurch since the Pac 12 or Big 10 won't take them and their network.
If we do expand I hope it is either 2 from the west or 2 from the east so the Bama schools stay together. If we can go into states with a footprint. I think FSU and Clemson are the best and most logical choices. Or heck invite TCU. LSU owes them anyway for taking Coach Johnson

Sure...Kansas is barely a national brand in basketball. You'd have to be a troll to convince anyone that Kansas is a national brand in anything else. That would be an outrageous joke.

considering conference expansion is about football and to a lesser degree basketball all of your shitting on Kansas misses the point. You are letting your Mizzou colored glasses get in the way of reality.

Kansas is one of the premier basketball schools. They are well known b/c of it. Basketball is going to be what keeps them from dropping to a non BCS conference in the end.

They have some of the most profitable third tier rights in the country specifically b/c of their basketball team.
