Yes, mine is slowly going back to where it was before. My ENT explained it like this: the septum of your nose is cartilage and it has "memory". It's like your ear, if you bend your ear down (and even hold it there for a while), it will pop back into it's original position as soon as you let go. So, that's what happens when you have the surgery done, it tries to go back to it original placement bc of memory.
But like I told you in that thread, mine was mild-moderately deviated. I never knew about it and it didn't bother me. I had some problems breathing on that side when I was laying down, but I sleep on my right side, so it was a non-issue. I only found out about it bc I broke my nose. Also, I only agreed to let him "fix it" bc he had to do surgery on me to fix my broken nose.

Ok. My was almost completely deviated on both sides. They didn't just remove cartilege but bone too. That's why it is such a long recovery I guess. While the cartelige may move back I doubt I regrow the bone that has been removed. What sucks is that he couldn't completely remove as much as he wanted b/c he was afraid he'd damage the nerves to my teeth.
It's got to be an improvement.
