I disagree. You've shown in the past that you can win the west (then get whooped by the east, but make it to ATL anyway). The problem is that bama and LSU are really, really strong right now. It sucks because this is one of your best eras too, but you're going to have trouble with those 2 being so high right now. Yall will eventually win the west again, someday..but it will be in large part due to bama and lsu dropping off some.

This is true to some extent but I don't think it will take Bama and LSU "dropping off" as much as it will take a significant improvement in our defensive play.
