Can MU get a 1 seed to give the "SEC" two 1 seeds?

If they beat Baylor tonight, will they jump KU as a 1 seed? We know Syracuse, UNC, and UK are the definite 1 seeds.

Why are the Pig fans so arse hurt about MU? Is it that they have come out defending Haith or is it that they have been listening to Bo? I can't figure this one out at all.
ETA:
If this board was around in 91-92 the Pig fans would have been just like the MU aTm fans also.

If we can win today it would be difficult to make a case against giving us a #1 seed.

1-1 against kU
I think our shot at a 1 seed would be much improved if we were playing kU instead of Baylor today, but I also think the beaks were too chicken shite to play us.

Mizzou will need to beat Baylor and need Mich St and Ohio St to lose for a shot at a 1 seed. May need UNC to lose today as well.

Exactly. Once the spring athletics is done, they will officially converge over to the SEC. Until then, they are Big 12. Them getting a one seed will have nothing to do with the "SEC".

I don't get this shite either. And for a program who really hasn't done jack shite in recent memory, they sure can spew alot of venom. I think it's actually funny. If I were a UM fan, I'd just laugh it off. BTW...I hope UM kicks arse...

Also, Mizzou getting a 2 seed in the midwest playing in Omaha and St.Louis would be better than getting a 1 seed in the West IMO.

They will play in Omaha anyway. The POD system will make sure of that.

I'll be pissed if we get sent to St. Louis (which is looking likely) and Missouri ends up as the 2 seed.

Some analysts are saying we have a shot at a 1 seed, others say we're a 2 regardless because our noncon schedule was weaker than some of the other possible 1s. We won't know until tomorrow. I agree with the poster who said he'd rather be a 2 in St. Louis than a 1 out west though.
I know tonight will be tough - last thing the bevo conference wants is for us to be champs on our way out. And we got a little beat up last night with Ehglish's leg and Denmon's ankle. But....if we win I bet the SEC chant will be deafening!

I think if MU goes as a 2 seed they'll be in Carolina's region. I think Duke is the 2 in UK region no matter what.
