LSU just allocated their money elsewhere. They built the grandest (in my opinion) entrance and backstop in all of college baseball by a longshot. Correct me if im wrong but South Carolina doesnt even enter from home plate.

So they cut corners in the bleacher instead of chairback angle. I dont think they cut corners with the ads in the outfield. I believe that was always part of the plan just like it was at the old box.

South Carolina enters from roughly center field. You walk in and see the trophy case with the two National Championship trophies.

USC also has the wrap around concourse. The concession areas are all on one open level, so you can watch the game from the concession area.

USC did not put their money in making their ballpark look like a grand edifice. The playing field is sunken into the ground, so from outside the ballpark does not look all that big. The money went into quality: chairback seats with cupholders everywhere (except the left field bleachers about the mini-green monster); nice brickwork; upscale offices, lounges, weight room and batting cages.
